Guidelines

Community guidelines

Hacker House Bangkok works because members trust each other. These guidelines apply here and across BangkokConnect. Breaking them can mean losing access to both.

  1. 01. Be a real person

Use your real name and a real photo. Describe what you actually do, at the stage you are actually at.

  2. 02. No spam, no cold pitching

Do not mass-message members with services, tokens, courses or investment offers. Ask before you sell.

  3. 03. Respect people's time

Show up to what you sign up for. If you cannot make it, cancel early so someone else can take the spot.

  4. 04. Keep feedback useful

Be direct about products and kind about people. Criticise the work, never the person behind it.

  5. 05. Protect confidential information

What is shared in a private room, sprint or mentor session stays there unless the owner says otherwise.

  6. 06. Zero tolerance for harassment

Harassment, discrimination and threats result in immediate removal from the platform. Report anything you see.

Reporting a problem

Report a member or a message from their profile, or contact the team through BangkokConnect. Reports are handled privately by the moderation team.
